Thread lifting of the face is used to reduce the clarity of the oval, deepen the nasolabial folds, and ptosis (drooping of soft tissues) in the chin and neck area. Threads are also installed in the décolleté area and in certain areas of the body.
How does thread lifting work?
APTOS threads are inserted under the skin through micropunctures, without incisions, under local anesthesia. Duration of the procedure: 30–60 minutes.
The threads are made of biocompatible material (compatible with body tissues) and are absorbed within 1.5–2 years.
How the face changes
The effect of the tightening is noticeable immediately: the threads form a frame under the skin and fix the tissue in a new position.
Over the course of several months, the effect increases: the synthesis of collagen and elastin around the threads is stimulated, and the skin thickens. Mimic activity is preserved.
Recovery
Swelling and minor hematomas (bruises) usually resolve within 5 to 7 days. You can return to work in a few days.
During recovery, the doctor will recommend limiting active facial expressions, physical activity and thermal procedures (bath, sauna).
