What is this
Facial biorevitalization: injections of a hyaluronic acid-based drug into the dermis (the middle layer of skin located under the epidermis).
Hyaluronic acid is a normal part of the skin: it binds and retains water. With age, its content decreases. The drug compensates for this deficiency and maintains hydration (moisture) of tissues.
The dermis contains the key targets of the procedure: fibroblasts (cells that synthesize collagen and elastin), collagen and elastin fibers. External agents do not penetrate the dermis to such depth, unlike injection techniques.
In a number of preparations, vitamins and amino acids are added to hyaluronic acid. Highly purified preparations are used.
Who is suitable for biorevitalization
The procedure is considered for dryness and a feeling of tightness of the skin, decreased tone, dull complexion, the first fine wrinkles and signs of skin fatigue. The main objective of the technique: moisturizing and restoring elasticity.
Biorevitalization works with the quality of the skin: it does not create additional volume and does not fill wrinkles.
If stimulating collagen synthesis or increasing skin density is desired, your doctor may suggest bioregeneration or bioremodeling. The doctor selects the method and drug individually during an in-person consultation.
Results
As a rule, after the first procedure, the skin looks more hydrated and elastic. The tone and texture (skin surface relief) are gradually evened out, fine wrinkles become less pronounced. The degree of changes depends on the initial condition of the skin.
The technique is carried out in a course: 3-4 procedures with an interval of 2-3 weeks. The doctor selects a specific course individually during an in-person consultation, after examining the skin.
