What a genetic test will show
The genetic test at FGF medical is carried out once: the genotype (individual set of genes) does not change throughout life, so the conclusion remains relevant.
Based on the results, the doctor assesses the genetic predisposition: to a number of diseases, including multifactorial ones (their development depends on both genes and lifestyle), vitamin deficiency, and metabolic characteristics.
General dietary and lifestyle recommendations are not suitable for everyone. The test helps you determine what is right for you:

How to prepare
- 3 hours before taking the biomaterial, do not eat, it is preferable to take it on an empty stomach
- Do not chew gum 3 hours before the test
- You can drink water
How it goes
No blood draw is required. The biomaterial is the cells of the buccal epithelium (the mucous membrane of the inner surface of the cheek). The doctor takes a smear with a sterile probe from an individual kit and sends the sample to the laboratory.
Results
The report is ready in approximately 2 weeks. During the consultation, the doctor interprets the results and draws up a program: cosmetic procedures or nutritional correction.
There are contraindications. Specialist consultation is required.
